What is N.O.E.L.?

N.O.E.L. is a rules-lite game where players take on the roles of hackers attempting to upload a virus, the “Spirit of Giving” to the N.O.E.L. shipping network’s main server to shut down its rogue AI. Success hinges on managing your limited Tech Points (TP) and leveraging your Expertise.

This game is perfect for:

• One-Shot Missions: Clear an objective in a single, intense session.
• Minimal Rules: Everything you need fits on one sheet, allowing for quick setup.
• Resource Management: Missteps, healing and Advantage rolls cost crucial TP, forcing tough decisions.

• 1d6 Core Mechanic: Simple dice rolls determine damage to both players and the AI.
• Tech Points (TP): Your vital resource. Spend TP for Advantage on rolls, or save them to patch up an injured teammate.
• Expertise: Define your character by their core Expertise (Systems, Combat, and Interaction), ensuring unique challenges.
• Wound Tracking: Simple system to track physical damage. Push your limits, but risk Incapacitation!
