The Last Broadcast
Players are staff at a small-town radio station. A disaster (unnamed - could be supernatural, apocalyptic, alien, viral, whatever fits the group) has cut them off. Their only lifeline is the broadcast: speaking into the void, not knowing who might be listening. They’re trying to cling to hope, but the longer they broadcast, the more something strange answers back.
How to Play:
Each "turn" involves two steps:
- The Broadcast - you make a broadcast into the world. This could be a news update, a plea for help etc. A Broadcast Prompts document is available to help determine what the broadcast will be.
- The Response - Roll to determine the response to your broadcast.
You have 5 turns before the station goes of air. What will be your last broadcast?
Required Materials:
- 1 D6 die
- Journal, recording device, notes app - something to record the broadcasts and responses.
- Dim, atmospheric lighting (optional)
Estimated Play Time:
Around 1-2 hours.
Longer if your group really digs into the improvisational nature of the game. Probably shorter if playing single player.
