The Replacement
You notice small differences. A friend laughs in the wrong place. A coworker forgets your name. The reflection in the mirror blinks out of sync. One by one, people are replaced. The question is, who, and by what?
Required Materials
- A D6 die
- Notepad, recording device, notes app etc.
Structure of Play
Play progresses in Scenes of Exposure:
- Suspicion: One player describes an ordinary interaction.
- Distortion: Another player hints at something off (a slip, a mismatch, a double).
- Accusation: Players discuss, who is real, and who is the replacement?
- Roll a D6 to find out what happens next.
Estimated Play Time:
Around 1-2 hours.
Longer if your group really digs into the improvisational nature of the game. Probably shorter if playing single player.
